Bexley, Christchurch, New Zealand [No Longer On Site]

It appears that this Futuro made a stop at Cathedral Square, Christchurch to be a part of an Animation Festival prior to its arrival at its current location in Harewood. Check out the Harewood page for the details.

We finally came across a photo of this Futuro during its time at Fordingbridge Lane. The photo is by Waltraud Maassen and is displayed with permission. The photo is from some time in the early 90’s; Waltraud tells us that she walked past the Futuro regularly for many years until she finally snapped this great shot. She only saw (presumably) the owner once but the lady did not appear to be in the mood for talking. As we know the Futuro was moved to Christchurch Botanic Gardens in 2006 and then to

Other than the fact that the woman in the photo below was the mother of the Futuro’s then owner and that after her passing the Futuro was sold and moved first to the Christchurch Botanic Gardens in 2006 and then to 12A Mcleans Island Rd, Harewood in 2007 we know absolutely nothing about this Futuro so if you have any information or photographs please let us know.
