We came across this photo we had never seen before a little while ago. The photo, which is a part of the collection of the Thames Museum, shows this Futuro «back in the day» at its original location in Thames.

We were very excited the other day when we received this video footage via an Instagram message. The footage shows a disassembled Futuro in the vicinity of Auckland, New Zealand.

Given the known history of the New Zealand Futuros and the color of the unit seen in the photo we are confident it is the Futuro previously located in Thames, New Zealand. Known information about this unit prior to October 2020 can be found on our «Lost Souls» page in the Thames section.
